The Tinpot Trophy has now been recreated on ESPN following an ill-timed “inactivity” purge. Invites have been sent out via email. No changes — the scoring is as previously discussed and documented on this site.
The time is upon us, chaps!
I would recommend familiarising yourselves with ESPN’s mock draft simulator, so you’re comfortable with the platform come draft time. It might take a couple of days for ESPN to update their systems with all the schedule and Bye week data.
Their draft UI is, I think, easier and smoother to use than NFL was, so I don’t think the transition should be an issue for anyone. The ESPN app is way better than NFL — cleaner, more stable, and more fun!
There might be an update regarding this season’s matchup scheduling too, so keep an eye out for that. Got something exciting planned that will fix an old NFL problem that I want to run by the boss…
When the season/Fantasy gets underway, I’ll put both NFL and Tinpot fixtures up on the homepage every Tuesday for the coming week. I’ll do a little write-up for our Fantasy games, highlight any “Bowls” and important games. I’ll be logging all the results on the Season 10 page as we go along, which will be on the top-right menu, ready to be archived in the History at the end of the year.

The schedule has been released! A really great Holiday and International slate this season, along with some cracking matches on Primetime. The season kicks off September 4, 2025 with Thursday Night Football — Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 8:20pm ET on NBC.
While UK folks will have the majority of games on Sky Sports, I’ll list the US TV listings for Primetime games, so you know which ones are on Netflix, YouTube, etc. Will include PT, ET, and UK times, so accommodate everyone.
In 2016, two friends with a mutual love for the National Football League got together to form the Tinpot Trophy, a fantasy league inspired by the poorly run institutions that littered their job history.
What began as an experiment in killing time on a Sunday has evolved into the prestigious, highly coveted fantasy football championship it is today!
